Dive deeper in story of Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes

Nestled into an oasis (Watering hole), there lived an exceptional society of apes. Decades prior, Caesar, an adept chimpanzee leader had established this safe haven after suffering through years of brutal war with humans; today his legacy lives on in teachings of peaceful coexistence and respect for all living things.

Noa, an energetic young chimpanzee living peacefully under Caesar’s ideals, had recently heard whispers that an evil leader named Proximus Caesar who wasn’t related had taken control. His fascination for forgotten human technology drove his expansionist agenda which infringed upon and subjugated (to defeat people or a country and rule them in a way that allows them no freedom) weaker clans.

Raiding Noa’s village

Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes

Proximus Caesar’s forces raiding Noa’s village was an immense blow, taking many friends and family away in horrific scenes that Noa had witnessed first hand, growing his desire for justice in him and leading to him embarking upon a dangerous journey in search of them all while stopping Proximus Caesar at every turn. Noa left with little hesitation on an epic quest of search & destroy in order to rescue what remained.

Noa’s escape led him into an empty wasteland that was an unpleasant reminder of human destruction, where he found an unlikely ally – Mae, an intelligent young human woman raised amid its remnants who surprised Noa with her intelligence and resourcefulness.

Noa and Mae

Though they had different backgrounds, distrust quickly gave way to an unlikely alliance between Noa and Mae despite initial hesitations about working together. Together they navigated the hazards of the wasteland together while dodging scavengers and environmental threats; over shared meals and conversations under starry skies Noa learned about human struggles before the war while Mae gained insights into Caesar’s vision of peace for both parties.

Their journey then led them to an unknown city – the last vestige of human civilisation. Here they met an isolated settlement of humans living warily amongst apes that now controlled most surface environments. Noa, with Mae as translator, attempted to convince these humans of his peaceful intent but most remained skeptical but showed glimpses of hopefulness when looking towards him for help.

Proximus Caesar action

Proximus Caesar was alarmed at their actions. To put an end to them, he sent out his most ruthless warriors in pursuit of Noa and Mae in order to capture them and retrieve any knowledge belonging to humanity that they may possess. A thrilling chase brought them all the way back to Proximus Caesar’s fortress with its vast stores of stolen human technology; Noa and Mae knew they must act quickly or Proximus Caesar could take both of them captives at once.

Noa employed his agility and intelligence to outwit Proximus Caesar’s guards inside the fortress, using them against him with nonviolent dialogue such as that used against original Caesar: strength comes from unity rather than dominance. Proximus Caesar eventually started doubting his methods after seeing soldiers fighting other apes on behalf of themselves – something Noa was quick to notice by their fear-inducing efforts against Proximus.

Power of unity

Power of unity

Noa and Mae’s actions had caused a chain reaction: humans from the hidden city, drawn together by Noa’s message of peace, joined forces with freed apes to storm Proximus Caesar’s fortress. Proximus realized the futility of his actions but ultimately fell by Noa’s power of unity rather than through violence.

Peace was restored and Noa and his ape friends returned home, along with Mae and other representatives from the human city that was not visible to humans. Collaboration had been established between apes and humans when both species began their common goal of reestablishing society with the benefit of Caesar’s legacy and Noa’s brave leadership; their tale soon became famous and offered an inspiration for the future coexistence of all species.
